Welcome to Herbie Felton for Detroit City Council 2009. We will be expanding the site soon.

Herbie is running on a platform of accountability in city government.

TERM LIMITS
Herbie Felton will fight for term limits on city officials, particularly on the mayor and city council members. His plan includes a two-term (8 years) limit on the mayor, and a three-term (12 years) limit on members of the city council. No election should be a lifetime appointment.

SPENDING CUTS
Herbie Felton plans to drastically reduce city spending by cutting wasteful spending out of our city's budget. This will increase available funds needed for important city services and projects.

KEEPING CITY ASSETS
Herbie Felton plans to fight to keep city assets, including our side of the Windsor tunnel. He opposed Mayor Kilpatricks plan to sell.
